Illumination…

November 30th, 2007 by dear-len

A deafening silence echoed in the room

As blindness engulf and brought gloom

A lifeless being lying helplessly and alone

But still holding on to the last breath to find home

A life filled with emptiness and loneliness

Someone with no material things left to possess

What could be the purpose for this misery?

Is this the only way to find eternity?

At the verge of hopelessness and despair

Having a numb body useless and impaired

A mind tired and filled with negativity

Can anyone bring me even a little affinity?

At this point, some blissful light became evident

A purpose became intent

A realization came into existence

What a relief to discover His presence

It is at the point of sorrow that you’ll discover happiness

Truly there is strength at the point of weakness

It is during being alone you’ll discover you’re not alone

Truly in being away that you’ll realize you have a home

It is at your darkest moment that you’ll be blinded by light

Truly life is a continuous game of might

It is at deprived situation you’ll realize that you have the best possessions

Truly, treasures are abstract in nature that should substitute material obsessions
